The catalog for the 40th Antiquaria in Ludwigsburg / Germany from January 22 – 25, 2025, with over 50 participants from Germany, Austria, France, and the Netherlands, is now online and can also be ordered in print.
On the occasion of the bookfair the 31st ANTIQUARIA Prize 2026 will be awarded to Rotraut Susanne Berner. Born in Stuttgart in 1948, the illustrator, book designer, and author has created an extensive body of children’s books with her unmistakable drawing style, including bestsellers such as the Wimmelbooks and the Karlchen stories. She has also created numerous illustrations and covers for titles by Sylvia Plath and Luigi Malerba, Julien Green and Charles Bukowski, Helmut Eisendle and H. M. Enzensberger – a continuum of rich and original illustration art.
